Daily Minor Illness Clinic

Nurses can deal with a wide variety of conditions such as sore eyes, ears and throats,  hay fever, insect bites or stings, and the provision of emergency contraception and condoms.  As Nurse Prescribers they can prescribe appropriate medication.

The nurses run a “minor illness” clinic each morning and afternoon and are also available to give telephone advice.

To access this service call the Health Centre where you will be directed to the Triage Team.  It is necessary for the Team to ask for some details of your problem so that they can either offer an appointment with a Nurse or a GP.
