Nurses

The nurses provide a range of services available by appointment. These include a minor illness clinic, urine testing, injections, dressings and assisting the doctors with minor surgery.

They have training in asthma care, diabetes care, coronary heart disease prevention, well women (including smear taking and breast awareness), antenatal care, family planning and smoking cessation. 

They will also provide help and advice on a wide range of health issues and problems. Daily clinics are run by the Health Care Assistants to take blood for tests, carry out new patient medicals and monitor patients with hypertension.
